W Residence

The W Residence project was designed to respond to the homeowner’s open living room and create a seamless connection between indoors and out. An open dining space connects the living areas to an outdoor pavilion and fireplace. Travertine pavers were selected in a cool grey tone to compliment the existing home, while a contrasting dark veneer stone was selected for the outdoor room and kitchen. Inside the pavilion, a gas fireplace and seat walls frame the scenery. Lighting and entertainment elements were integrated into the structure and connected to the homeowner’s wireless system. Beyond, the space is framed with planting selections designed with ease of maintenance in mind, while a bubbling stone water feature was integrated into the beds, lending a calming ambiance to the space.
