Congress Lake Project
The landscape design of this unique, older home has a sunken rear living space around the back of the home. The slope across the site is drastic and can only be dealt with by a series of retaining walls and steps. To keep within the character of the 1800’s home, a series of sandstone steps and a sandstone walkway lead to the back that opens into an intimate space. With a stone retaining wall, built in fire pit, stone patio, and surrounding plantings this exterior space provides a sense of privacy while allowing for the maximum amount of space for entertaining.
