Finance Manager

KGK and Company is a full-service landscape architecture, construction, and maintenance provider to residences and businesses across Northeast Ohio. Finance manager implements strategy of the finance team by performing daily and weekly task associated with vendors, human resources, and accounts payable. Three + years’ experience in a related position and Associates Degree or higher in Accounting, Marketing, Business, Human Resources, or a related field is required. The position will be part time or full time, anywhere from 20 – 40 hours per week based on KGK’s need. Occasional 40+ hour work weeks during peak season may be required.

Primary Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Experience and Education:
Experience with or around professional business offices is a necessity. Accredited college degree within the following disciplines: Accounting, Marketing, Business, Human Resources. (Applicants with previous experience without formal education will be considered on a case-by-case basis).

Reliable communication skills with clients and staff, both verbal and written; a proven record of providing excellent internal and external customer service; ability to make and meet deadlines; excellent organizational skills, multitasking efficiency, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously; paperwork accuracy and effectiveness; collaborative team mentality (with internal and external staff); deals well and builds upon existing/future clientele, vendors, business partners, and employees (internal and external); critical thinker, problem solver, and ability to learn new skills; ability to work independently with occasional supervision.

Computer & Technical Skills:
Essential: Quickbooks 3+ Years, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel & Word primarily) 3+ Years, Excel 3 + Years, Web-Based Project Management Programs, Google Product Suites
Advantage: Adobe Suite Products (Acrobat Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.)

Primary Job Functions:

Office Functions:
Answering phones and taking accurate messages for internal staff, keeping up with office organization, keeping office and common areas of the office clean and organized. Keeping digital and hard copy files organized and accurate.

Accounts Payable:
Responsible for all aspects of Accounts Payable within Quickbooks including data entry, payments, loan management, credit card management and reconciliations, bill payments and memorized transactions, bank and credit card reconciliation.

Human Resources:
Employee apparel management and upkeep, checking applicants for driving privileges, maintain organization for driving privileges, managing working comp., unemployment, interview for new hires, new hire paperwork, want advertisements and job postings.

Finance Functions:
Coordinate payroll with outside payroll company, real time job costing, loan management, handling and organizing estimates and add on quotes, invoicing – maintenance contracts and construction contracts, tax CAT, tax sales, credit card management, daily materials management, city permits and registrations, monitoring cell phone usage, quickbooks, microsoft office, and excel spreadsheet management and upkeep.
