County Line Estate

The design for this outdoor retreat pulled from the French Country style architecture of the estate and the beautiful old growth forest that wraps the entire property in its impressive foliage. Guests are first welcomed by warm stone columns illuminated by gas flame sconces leading them down the long winding drive lined by established planting beds comprised of a variety of perennials, shrubs, and trees. At the end of the circular parking area, guests are guided by a beautiful sandstone raised bed complete with signature plantings.

As guests approach the home, they are led by an inlay stone entryway with beautiful border garden beds that are embellished with decorative stone fixtures and filled with year-round greenery along with seasonal floral accents. The focal point of the outdoor space is a 40-foot in-ground pool and built-in hot tub. This all balanced with a covered outdoor room anchored with a masonry wood-burning fireplace and pizza oven. An open-air cedar pergola adorns the outdoor kitchen completed with a cut stone bar and radial cut granite countertops. A custom cedar and granite outdoor shower provide the homeowner with a private area to rinse off after enjoying the pool and sun on the patio. This was designed around an outdoor shower the couple had seen during a trip to California. Extensive plantings and exterior lighting throughout the entire property makes the home feel nestled into the wooded property and provides delicate ambiance at night.
